Graphical look at Gruen movement use
Style Numbers can tell us more than just when a particular watch was created, they can also be informative about movement usage. One way too gauge when movements were used AND how popular the movements were, is to look at how they were used with Style Numbers.
This graph tell us when each Gruen movement caliber was assigned a Style Number. The Style Number tells us the year, and counting how many per year perhaps tells how "popular" it was to use that movement. The graph can show not just the lifespan of a movement, but also in which years it was utilized the most.
